If you have checked out the women’s leaderboard for the In-Affiliate Semifinals, you likely saw a bunch of familiar names…and Siria Meha. While the top 11 is littered with CrossFit Games veterans, sitting in 2nd place is an athlete very few have likely heard about.Â
A glance at Meha’s competition history shows that she burst onto the scene in 2022 and has competed at a handful of European competitions where she has stood on the podium.
Meha has competed in the CrossFit Open since 2022. In her first year she placed 9,323rd worldwide in the Open. In 2023, she improved to 1,707th. Last year she took 138th overall and this year she was 25th in the world.
She was the Fittest Woman in Albania in 2022, 2023, and 2024. This year, however, Meha took 4th in the United Kingdom as the country was based on where you did the Open workouts, not your citizenship.
From 2022-2024, Meha qualified for Quarterfinals. And just like the Open, she showed improvement each year such that she qualified for the Europe Semifinal in 2024.
At the Europe Semifinal, Meha finished 31st overall.
Throughout all of this Meha has been competing in a wide range of competitions in Europe, from smaller, local competitions to several larger, regional/international competitions.
