Last week we revealed the first ever Top 25 Media Poll, a monthly forward-looking ranking system that combined the rankings of 12 CrossFit Games analysts and media personalities in the space.
This week, The Spin Top 25 Fan Poll is here. Subscribers to our Patreon are invited to submit their ballot on who they think will do the best at the 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games. Those submissions are then aggregated (like the media poll) to create the fan poll.
So, the question is…who did the fans think will win the CrossFit Games? And how do the rankings compare to the media poll?
Well, just like the Media Poll, Justin Medeiros and Laura Horvath were selected by the fans to earn the title, Fittest on Earth. Roman Khrennikov jumped onto the podium, as selected by the fans and on the women’s side the podium had the same three women, but the fans put Annie Thorisdottir above Danielle Brandon.

Interestingly, 38 women received at least one vote in the Fan Poll. Alexia Williams (2nd in South America) and Shahad Budebs (2nd in Asia) were the only women to not receive a vote.
