The top 10 worldwide on 16.2 featured some of the best CrossFitters of all time. The top 3 men were Ben Smith, Rich Froning and Mat Fraser. The top 3 women were Kara Webb (Saunders), Brooke Wells and Sara Sigmundsdottir. Not too bad!

Now that the scores from 19.2 have all been submitted, let’s take a look how the best in the world in 2016 fared three years later (spoiler: they crushed it!).

Rich Froning absolutely crushed 19.2. Check out the full video of his workout. Mat Fraser improved by the same 62 seconds as Froning, but could not gain any ground. Everyone who finished in the top 10 who is not injured and and is actively competing in the Open this year improved their score from three years ago.

Kara Webb absolutely crushed 16.2 three years ago, beating the next best time by almost a minute! This year, Brooke Wells blitzed this workout, making it look easy! Sara Sigmundsdottir also improved a ton over the past three years. Compared to the men, several more are not competing in the Open in 2019.
