Watch Annie Thorisdottir Beat Her 14.4 Score by 41 Reps on 23.1

Annie Thorisdottir had the 31st best score on 14.4. Nine years late and a week after sharing she is returning to compete as an individual, the two-time CrossFit Games champion bested that score by 41 reps.

In 2014, Thorsidottir completed 198 reps in the 14-minute AMRAP. That is, she finished 18 of the ring muscle-ups, just two reps short of completing one full round of the chipper.

This year, Annie made it through the round and chipped away at more calories on the Concept2 rower finishing with 39 calories in her second trip on the machine. Her score: 239.

That score would have put her in 2nd place back in 2014, still 17 reps shy of Samantha Briggs’ 256 reps!

Right now, Briggs’s 239 reps would place her in 2nd on the leaderboard, two reps behind Alaina Savage and one rep ahead of last year’s CrossFit Games rookie Rebecca Fuselier.
