The Syndicate Crown invited the top 20 men and women from the 2025 CrossFit Games to compete at this year’s Semifinal. Those athletes had until tonight at 8pm Eastern Time to accept or decline their invite. Of those athletes, seven men and nine women accepted their invite.
Included in those who accepted are the current Fittest Man on Earth, Jayson Hopper, the second and third Fittest Women on Earth, Lucy Campbell and Olivia Kerstetter, respectively.Â
Dallin Pepper and Danielle Brandon, who both finished 4th at the 2025 Games, also accepted their invites.
Before we get into how Syndicate will fill the remaining spots, here is who confirmed they will be competing in Knoxville later this year:

The Syndicate Crown field will end up featuring 40 men and 40 women, both vying for three qualification spots to the 2026 CrossFit Games.
The remaining 33 spots for the men and 31 spots for the women will be based on the worldwide Quarterfinals leaderboard. Because of this, athletes who initially declined (i.e. James Sprague, Arielle Loewen, etc) could get re-invited if they do well enough at Quarterfinals.
Syndicate Crown will continue to work down the Quarterfinals leaderboard until all 40 spots are filled.
Keep in mind that if anyone qualifies prior to Syndicate Crown, they will be ineligible to compete in Knoxville. Their spot will be handed to the next athlete based on Quarterfinals results.
The 2026 Syndicate Crown is May 29-31 at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee. We will be livestreaming the competition on The Barbell Spin YouTube channel.
