2016 NPGL Match Formats Announced

We are still two months away from the start of the 2016 NPGL season, but teams can now start planning and strategizing for the three regular season matches and the first playoff match. The championship format is still under lock and key and will most likely not be announced until right before the playoffs begin.

The three regular season matches will be Pikes Peak, Kilimanjaro and Amazon. All of these formats have been seen before in competition so teams should have an idea of what to expect. The first round playoff match, however, is a new format named Denali. Details of Denali have not yet been released, but it will be a “revamped” version of McKinley from 2015.
