This past weekend the French Throwdown hosted the second, and final, In-Person Qualifying Event in Europe this year. The top two men and women would each receive an invite to compete at the 2025 CrossFit Games this August.
After the dust settled, Bronislaw Olenkowicz, Calum Clements, Claudia Gluck and Lucy McGonigle earned their spot at the CrossFit Games. For McGonigle, it will be her rookie debut in her first official year in the Open division.
McGonigle has competed in the Teenage CrossFit Gams the past four years. In that span, she won twice (2022 and 2023) and finished on the podium the other two years.
It will be Olenkowicz’s third trip to the CrossFit Games (2019, 2023 & 2025). Clements and Gluck will both make their second consecutive CrossFit Games appearance.
But while those four athletes qualified for the CrossFit Games, two other athletes won the competition. Moritz Fiebig and Elisa Fuliano stood atop the men’s and women’s podium, respectively. Fiebig already qualified two weeks ago at Wodland Fest. Fuliano did not participate in the CrossFit Open and is unable to qualify for the CrossFit Games.
As such, the next two athletes earned the invite.
