Greg Glassman Steps Away from Broken Science and MetFix

Late last week MetFix affiliates were notified that Greg Glassman will no longer be involved with Broken Science Initiative or MetFix. Emily Kaplan, co-founder and CEO of the Broken Science Initiative, will continue as CEO of the company.

Following a call, Kaplan sent an email to MetFix affiliates in which she wrote, “I shared that Greg has decided to pass the torch and pass and step back from Broken Science and MetFix, turning over his ownership to me. I take this responsibility seriously and am I’m humbled that after six years of being mentored by Greg he trusts me to lead us all on this important mission. He says he will be at our events and is now our biggest fan.”

Broken Science Initiative (BSI) was founded in 2022 by Greg Glassman and Emily Kaplan to address systemic issues within modern medicine and scientific research. Then in 2024, BSI launched MetFix, an initiative aimed at reversing chronic disease.

MetFix hosts 2-day weekend seminars where attendees learn about metabolic health that can be used with clients, patients or yourself. The next MetFix Foundations seminar is June 13-14 at MetFix Pace in Sacramento, California.

And next month is the 2026 BSI Unbreakable Health Retreat. Over the course of two days on May 30-31, attendees will hear from numerous speakers including Greg Glassman, Emily Kaplan, Mark Sisson, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Dave Feldman, Dr. Jaime Seeman and more.
