Here are a few interesting facts:
- The 1st, 2nd, and 4th Women’s Overall Total rankings were in the 141-150 lb. weight class. The 3rd and 5th were in the 131-140 lb. weight class. This body weight range for women appears to be ideal for the met-con portion of the competition.
- While technically not a full-time weightlifter any more, Jared Enderton was the highest ranking “non-elite” CrossFitter in the Overall Total. Enderton moved into the functional fitness realm this past year as he became a member of the NPGL’s Baltimore Anthem. With 404 reps in the met-con, Jared is showing he has the engine in addition to top-end strength.
- Holley Mangold’s attempt at the met-con is the best. She smokes the snatches and clean & jerks, but the chest-to-bar pull-ups were not happening. Video
- Caine Wilkes also filmed his met-con. While getting through one full round, the CTB were the limited factor. Video
