It started with an announcement from Dave Castro last night telling athletes that they would have to meet in the hotel lobby at 3:30am local time. As the individual athletes left the reception to get some sleep, they were handed a piece of paper with a list of items to bring with them.
Then CrossFit Games posted on social media that they would be capturing the action starting at 3:30am.

The Facebook Live feed started with Dave Castro telling the athletes they would be boarding a plane and they each get one carry-on item. Up to 10,000 people watched the feed that consisted mostly of the athletes standing in the hotel, sitting on the bus or standing around waiting to board the plane.
A few minutes ago Dave Castro just posted a photo of him at Aromas so that’s where the athletes are headed. Still no word on the workouts, but many are thinking it will be a repeat of some or all of the 2007 workouts.
The only way to watch the events today for the individuals is on the CrossFit Games Facebook Live feed.
