Sam Briggs and Sara Sigmundsdottir joined forces as Team Rogue Fire & Ice for the 2017 CrossFit Team Series. Once submissions were closed, it appeared that the European duo would take 3rd overall.
However, Briggs and Sigmundsdottir were unable to provide sufficient video footage for the workout requested for review by CrossFit. The team received a penalty, which dropped them from 3rd down to 63rd place overall.
The mistake cost the team $3,000 ($1,500 per athlete) by dropping out of third place.
