Thank you to all the participants in Week 1 of the Capture the Open photo contest. There were some great photos submitted. Unfortunately, we can only choose one photo to win the awesome prize package from ROMWOD, Virus Intl, Fit Vine Wine, Born Primitive and Wod Wax.
So with that said, the winning photo was submitted by Cesar Morales.
Cesar captured the photo at CrossFit South Miami. In the photo, Anthony Garcia, a coach at CrossFit South Miami is being cheered on by members of the gym. You can find more of Cesar’s photos on Instagram (@mnr_images) and Facebeook (@mnrimages1).

As we stated, there were some awesome photos submitted this week capturing 16.1. Some of them were too good to not give a shout out to. Here are the honorable mentions from this week.
Jason Morrison captured this image of Natalie Wheatley at CrossFit Bluegrass in Louisville, Kentucky.

Elisa Garcia captured Dalton Cohen on the ground after the brutal 20 minute AMRAP at CrossFit Pulse in McDonough, Georgia.

Taylor Bisanzio captured Kylie Miller and Jennifer Libby during one of the 25-foot overhead lunge sections at The Coliseum Strength and Conditioning in Central Valley, New York.

Congrats to Cesar Morales for winning Week 1 of the Capture the Open photo contest. Week 2 of the contest begins in just a few hours when Dave Castro announces 16.2 from a garage gym in North Carolina. Dan Bailey and Bjorgvin Gudmundsson will be doing the workout head-to-head.
