Some of the top CrossFit athletes have been competing in the Dubai Fitness Championship online qualifier over the past month. The top qualifiers will then compete in Dubai from December 7-10 with some rather large payouts.
The online qualifier itself has a prize purse of $39,000 for both the men’s and women’s competitions. For the finals, the top 3 of each workout (15 in total) will receive a cash prize of $3,000 for 1st, $2,000 for 2nd and $1,000 of 3rd. Additionally, the total prize package is $186,000 for the men’s and women’s competitions as well with 1st place taking home $50,000.
One of the athletes vying for these cash prizes is Brooke Wells. Wells ended up finishing 5th overall in the qualifier and will most likely be heading to Dubai in early December. Check out her qualifier videos below.
