Earlier this week, CrossFit began its search for host cities for the 2017 CrossFit Games Regional Events. CrossFit is asking for a Letter of Interest from cities or venues by September 30 with full proposals due October 15.
The details of the Request for Proposal (RFP) indicate that the four weekends that are being considered for 2017 are May 12-14, May 19-21, May 26-28 and June 2-4.
CrossFit is looking for venues with seating capacity for 4,000. They estimate that more than 5,000 spectators attend the regional events each day.
CrossFit is asking for a $25,000 rights fee or services in-kind.
