It began this afternoon when Dave Castro asked his followers on Twitter whether anyone would like to have one of the Regional workouts released.
Thinking about releasing regional event tonight. Any interest?

Most of the comments came back in some form of ‘yes’, but some (i.e. Josh Bridges were hoping he would keep it a secret). Here are reactions from some of the top CrossFit athletes this afternoon.
@CFthedavecastro @CFthedavecastro I say keep it to yourself! Way more fun that way!

@CFthedavecastro Nah, make them wait.

@CFthedavecastro Keep it to yourself as long as you can, shoot me a message and I’ll review them if you’d like. Otherwise keep quiet

And then right before 7pm Pacific, Castro announced the first individual workout of the 2017 CrossFit Regionals.
Run 1,200 meters (presumably on the TrueForm or the new AirRunner)
-then-
12 rounds of:
4 Handstand Push-ups (strict)
8 Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups
12 Air Squats
*Wearing 5.11 Tactical Weight Vest
Castro’s announcement of the workout was done by writing on a whiteboard with no sound.
So now we have one workout we can probably expect to see the rest begin to roll out over the next several days. What do you think about the first workout?
