Elijah Muhammad and Kari Pearce made the trip overseas to compete in the Swiss Alpine Battle. The competition took place in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. Muhammad and Pearce are the second pair from the United States to make the trip to Switzerland to compete in this competition. Last year, Mat Fraser and Brooke Ence made the voyage.
Although not as much attention was made about Team Chocolate Milk (Muhammad and Pearce) competing, they didn’t disappoint while on the competition floor. The duo finished with six event wins, enough to edge out CrossFit Yas by 2 points. The 2016 CrossFit Open winner, Jamie Greene and CrossFit Yas Games team member, Elliot Simmonds, made up CrossFit Yas and gave Chocolate Milk a run for their money.
Mat Fraser did, however, go back and compete again this year. This time, Fraser partnered up with his girlfriend, Sammy Moniz. The team, dubbed 10 Feet Tall, finished 17th out of 34 teams competing.
