
The first workout of the 2016 Granite Games Online Qualifier has been released, and it is a ladder that consists of squat clean and jerks with progressively heavier loads and bar facing burpees.
The workout is as follows for Rxed:
15 minutes:
10 squat clean & jerks (135/85lbs)
15 burpees over bar
8 squat clean & jerks (185/115lbs)
15 burpees over bar
6 squat clean & jerks (225/145lbs)
15 burpees over bar
4 squat clean & jerks (275/175lbs)
15 burpees over bar
2 squat clean & jerks (305/200lbs)
15 burpees over bar
MAX squat clean & jerks (315/205lbs)
The standards for this workout are as follows: Burpees must be a 2 foot takeoff and landing, and must be performed facing the bar. Cleans must be of the squat variety, with full depth achieved. A power clean to front squat to shoulder to overhead is also allowed, as well as squat clean thrusters. The clock must be set to count up, as there is a tie break with this event at 105 reps. The tiebreak time is 15:00 if you fail to make 105 reps.
The scaled event has the same standards, but with lighter weights:

15 burpees over bar
8 squat clean & jerks (115/75lbs)
15 burpees over bar
6 squat clean & jerks (135/95lbs)
15 burpees over bar
4 squat clean & jerks (155/115lbs)

2 squat clean & jerks (175/125lbs)
15 burpees over bar
MAX squat clean & jerks
