Froning, Bridges, Davidsdottir & Thorisdottir Team up for Team Series

The first sponsored team announced to compete in the CrossFit Team Series is Team Rogue Black. The super team is comprised of Rich Froning, Josh Bridges, Katrin Davidsdottir and Annie Thorisdottir. The announcement was made on Dave Castro’s Instagram feed.

Froning’s teams have not had huge success during the first two years of the Team Series competition. Rogue Fitness Black finished 3rd in 2014 and 5th in 2015, something Froning is not used to. This year’s team has a combined 8 CrossFit Games individual titles and an “all around good dude” per Castro’s comment on Instagram.

Team Reebok Classics led by Ben Smith has won the Team Series both years. Will we see a new Team Series champion this year or will it stay with Team Reebook?
