Lindy Barber Joins CrossFit Mayhem Freedom Team

Lindy Barber recently announced via social media that she will be going Team for the 2016 CrossFit Games season. T 2-time CrossFit Games veteran will not be joining any ordinary team. No, Barber will be joining the reigning champs, CrossFit Mayhem Freedom led by Rich Froning, Jr.

I am SUPER excited to announce that I am officially going to be a member of @crossfitmayhemfreedom this competition year! I went and trained with the team last weekend and officially committed before leaving. Based on the photo and caption, it appears that Lauren Neal will be replaced by Lindy. Lauren, a 40+ Masters athlete, was on last year’s winning team, although she struggled occasionally with some of the heavier events and the Deadlift/Bar Muscle-Up Syncros event. Lindy’s experience and drive should make CrossFit Mayhem Freedom that much more difficult to beat in 2016.
