In 2016, Mat Fraser won by 197 points, the largest margin of victory in the history of the CrossFit Games. In 2017, Fraser would do even better. Fraser walked away in convincing fashion the weekend, topping 2nd place Brent Fiskowski by an astounding 216 points.

After a day in which Fraser went 2nd, 1st, and 1st, he followed it up with a 3rd, 1st and 2nd to solidify another CrossFit Games title in as many years. Fraser won four events over the course of four days and only trailed after the Run-Swim-Run event.

Behind Fraser, however, was a different story. Athletes jumped all around the leaderboard throughout the week. Once the dust settled, Brent Fikowski landed in 2nd place overall followed by Games rookie Ricky Garard.

Garard won two events, Cyclocross and Madison Triplet, and won the Rookie of the Year award…on top of finishing on the podium.

Last year’s podium finishers Ben Smith finished 8th and Patrick Vellner took 4th.

Final Standings:
1) Mat Fraser (1,132)
2) Brent Fikowski (916)
3) Ricky Garard (834)
4) Patrick Vellner (792)
5) Noah Ohlsen (788)
