Mat Fraser already has an invite to the CrossFit Games after winning the Dubai CrossFit Championship in December. With Madison in hand, Fraser is only competing in the Open for a higher ranking for the Games.
After a “slow” start (relatively speaking, of course) finishing 59th in the world on 19.1, Fraser has rattled off two 3rd place finishes the next two weeks. This week Fraser did not delay posting his score of 8:08, which appears to be the fastest in the world so far…after fixing the three scores ahead of him.
Not only did Fraser post his score, he shared the video. Check it out:
Fraser finished the first 3-round couplet in a blazing 2:08. From there, Fraser would start back up at the 5:08, meaning it only took him 3:00 to complete the bar muscle-up/burpee couplet!
There are just a few hours left to submit scores. Will anyone be able to beat Fraser???
