Scott Panchik will be making his 8th consecutive CrossFit Games appearance. Fee Saghafi will be making her rookie debut at the CrossFit Games. Both train at Panchik’s gym, CrossFit Mentality. As both athletes train and prepare for the CrossFit Games, @dmacfilms has produced a docu-series to capture all the behind-the-scenes moments, training videos and interviews with the CrossFit Mentality crew.
Episode #1 starts with Panchik finishing last year’s CrossFit Games and questioning what next year, 2019, would look like. Of course, he made the decision to compete again and is heading back to the Games after finishing 11th worldwide in the CrossFit Open. From there, a lot of the focus is on Saghafi and her progress over the year’s to get where she is today. Saghafi qualified for the CrossFit Games via the “Top 20” by finishing 24th worldwide in the Open.
Episode #2 takes the duo to the Rogue Invitational. With both already qualified for the Games, Panchik says that the Sanctionals have much less pressure than the Regionals in previous years. Get an inside look at their experience competing at one of the best Sanctionals of the season. Panchik would take 7th while Saghafi finished 13th.
