Could Nick and Jen Zambruno from NorCal CrossFit have split up? The couple competed on the 2015 NorCal CrossFit team. While Nick was an alternate for the super-team headed by Jason Khalipa, Jen was on the main roster and competed alongside Miranda Oldroyd and Molly Vollmer.
Jen Zambruno, however, recently changed her Instagram handle to @jencadmus. Cadmus is Jen’s maiden name prior to her and Nick’s wedding in November 2014. The handle name change appears to have happened between September 20 when @kuio.hammah mentioned Jen using the @jenzambruno Instagram handle and September 29 when Miranda Oldroyd used her new @jencadmus username.
Things between the couple appeared to be in good shape months earlier as they liked each other’s Instagram posts, but that stopped in early July. This appears to be the last photo Nick liked on Jen’s Instagram page.
On July 17, Nick Zambruno posted a Bible scripture with a comment referring to hard times.
Nick follows that up nine days later with another post commenting that “it’s [love] not a feeling, it’s a choice, an action. It’s not about you, it’s about someone else.” Jen liked this post.
Recently, Jen appears to have been spending a lot more time with friends and on trips. Jen has shared quite a few photos with Miranda Oldroyd on social media while competing on a Ragnar Relay team together and is currently on a trip to Mexico together. Oldroyd made news earlier this year as she split with her husband Tyson Oldroyd and began dating CrossFit Games veteran, Julian Alvarez.
