Patrick Vellner and Lindy Barber Team Up for 2017 Swiss Alpine Battle

The Swiss Alpine Battle has brought over a “super team” from the United States each year for the past few years. The 2017 competition will be no different. Patrick Vellner and Lindy Barber will pair up and compete across the pond next month.

Welcome the first Super Team: @lindybarber from @crossfitmayhemfreedom and @pvellner get together and compete as Team Barbellner. Lindy is a 4 times Games competitor (2 Individual and 2 Team) and just stepped on the second march of the podium with her team. Patrick placed 3rd in his Rookie year in 2016 at the @crossfitgames and 4th in 2017. The 2017 Swiss Alpine Battle is September 15-17 in Villars, Switzerland. The competition features two divisions, male/male and male/female, each with 35 teams.

Last year Elijah Muhammad and Kari Pearce won and in 2015 Mat Fraser and Brooke Ence took the title.
