Josh Bridges showed that 2016 is his year for redemption after dominating the California regional a year after missing out on qualifying for the 2015 CrossFit Games. Bridges, sporting what is quickly becoming his signature goatee, had two 1st place finishes, four events in the top 3 and no event worse than 10th place (the snatch ladder).
There was never a doubt over the course of the three days that Bridges would not qualify this year. The 265-pound snatches were not a problem. The 405-pound deadlifts looked easy (as he won the event) and the 225-pound overhead squats didn’t slow him down.
