The Team USA roster has been announced for next month’s 2017 CrossFit Invitational. With only one returning member from last year’s team, Team USA will have a new look this year.

Kari Pearce, Tennil Reed-Beuerlein, Noah Ohlsen and Scott Panchik will be competing on Team USA. In a twist for the head coach, Adam Neiffer will take on the coaching duties. Neiffer is the owner and head coach at CrossFit Fort Vancouver and has competed on their CrossFit Games affiliate team for the last nine years. Fort Vancouver finished 3rd in the team competition this past year at the CrossFit Games in Madison.

Notably absent from the USA Team is Mat Fraser. Fraser did not compete the previous two years, citing an injury both times, and will not compete once again this year. No word on the reason behind missing the Invitational in 2017.
