Via Instagram, Val Voboril has announced that she is declining her invitation to compete at Regionals this year so that another athlete can compete. It is unclear why she has decided to not compete.
Voboril finished 15th in the California Regional in 2015. Her best finish at the CrossFit Games was 3rd in 2013. She finished 5th in 2012 and 2014.
