Andrew Hiller’s 2026 Predictions

As we approach the start of 2026, Andrew Hiller is looking forward, not backward. Rather than reflecting on the year that was, Hiller has come out with his top 20 predictions for the new year.

Some are almost too obvious. Others are a bit off the wall. Hiller even puts up $20,000 if Cale Layman can finish in the top 5 of the Open again.

#19…CrossFit Affiliate fees drop back down to $3,000/year.
#18…Legends programming is terrible.
#17…NorCal Classic will be the most participated & engaging Semifinal.
#16…Athletes do more collaborations with CrossFit.
#15…Brent Fikowski will not finish The Movement Standards website.
#14…Pat Vellner will compete in the CrossFit Games season.
#13…Online Semifinals will be LIIT!
#12…Talking Elite Fitness will cease to exist.
#11…CrossFit Open registrations will decline year-over-year.
#10…Craig Richey returns to “Functional Fitness”.
#9…Emma Lawson wins the CrossFit Games.
#8…James Sprague wins the CrossFit Games.
#7…Hiller’s YouTube channel will not reach 100,000 subscribers.
#6…WFP will still be around in 2026.
#5…CrossFit will finally sell.
#4…Don Faul will no longer be CEO.
#3…Dave Castro becomes CEO.
#2…Cale Layman retires.
#1…Laura Horvath will not compete in the CrossFit Games season.
