
The best Youth weightlifters are in Bangkok, Thailand, this week to compete at the 2017 IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships. The first session begins on Tuesday at 10am local time. Bangkok is 11 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone in the United States, so that is 11pm Monday night.
The United States has sent a full team (8 men and 8 women) to compete in the international event. In total, 248 men and 197 women will hit the platform.

The biggest headline to keep an eye on is CJ Cummings pursuit on the Youth world records. Cummings already owns the Youth world record clean & jerk at 182kg. The total world record is within reach at 322kg. Cummings’ entry total is 321kg.
