Donovan Ford and Ariel Stevens are Engaged!

Two of the countries best weightlifters are now engaged. Donovan Ford and Ariel Stevens have been dating for while, but now the couple is engaged. Stevens posted a photo of the her and Ford at the top of a Mayan ruin following Ford’s proposal.

The couple were visiting Belize on vacation and Ford proposed at the end of a tour through the jungle ending at the top of a Mayan ruin.

Stevens is currently rehabbing following surgery on her elbow. She is back to working with a barbell albeit with lighter weights.

Ford has been battling injuries off and on throughout 2016. He competed at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials and finished with a 268kg total, good for 2nd place in the 105kg category.
