The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) published the entry list of the athletes competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics yesterday. The publication comes following the closure of entries and the completion of an eligibility check.
In total, 260 athletes from 91 countries will compete. China has 10 athletes competing, the most of any country, followed by Egypt with nine. Eight Russian athletes are still on the entry list as a formal ban has yet to be placed on the country and its athletes.
