Jon North Suffers Heart Attack, Resuscitated by Paramedics

[UPDATE Sept. 29: Jared Enderton is reporting via Twitter that North is now breathing on his own and is becoming more coherent.]

Jessica North posted on Instagram Wednesday night that her husband, Jon North, suffered a heart attack earlier in the day. Paramedics were able to resuscitate him and took him to the hospital.

North is in Cardiac ICU and and will be monitored over the next week.

Jon North was the 2012 American Open Championship Winner, 2011 USA National Champion, 2010, 2011 & 2013 USA Pan American team member, and two-time Arnold Sports Festival Championship winner. North runs The Dark Orchestra, an online weightlifting team, with his wife, Jessica and Jared Enderton. Recently, North has changed his athletic pursuits and has focused on bodybuilding.

Prayers needed please. Jon had a cardiac arrest today, was brought back to life by the paramedics and rushed to the hospital. He is in the Cardiac ICU and we will be here for at least a week until they find out exactly what is wrong with his heart. Please pray for him that he comes to a full recovery and that his heart becomes strong and healthy again. I am thanking God every second that he saved my husband.
