The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) has reported that 15 more weightlifters have tested positive following the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) reanalysis testing of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games samples.
Three Chinese athletes have been implicated in this “wave 2” of findings. With three potential violations, China could face a one-year ban similar to that of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
