The USAW announced that its resident program and training facility at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center will be shut down by the USOC on September 30, 2016. It is unclear at this time why the decision was made and whether any other sports or USOC training centers will undergo any changes.
There is no such mention of this news on the USOC website, the Colorado Springs Training Center page or any Board of Directors Meetings (as of June 16). The USAW is already in the process of finding a new location for its training facility, including other USOC training centers.
