The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) published its Prohibited List January 2017 and a Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes for 2017 today.

In the summary document, WADA has added several anabolic agents to the list of prohibited items. Isomers, as they related to Beta-2-Agonists, have been simplified as well.

Supplemental oxygen via inhalation has been changed to now be permitted. Intravenous administration of supplemental oxygen is still banned.

Codeine and the concurrent use of multiple beta-2-agonists have been added to the monitoring program to establish patterns of use.

For the most part, the document will only make sense to those familiar with specific performance-enhancing drugs or are in the scientific field.
