Angelo Bianco and Harrison Maurus Medal at Pan Ams

Team USA continued racking up its medal count on Tuesday. In the men’s 77kg weight category, Angelo Bianco and Harrison Maurus earned medals.

Bianco went 2-for-3 in the snatch finishing with 145kg, good for 4th. He would come back in the clean and jerk going 3-for-3 and earning a silver medal with a 188kg lift. His 333kg total would be good another silver. It was also a lifetime PR.

Maurus, competing in his first senior international competition, also walked away with a medal. After a 142kg snatch, Maurus hit a 186kg clean and jerk to earn a bronze medal for the lift. He would take 5th in the total.
