Brandon Smith, Brynn Carrick Win 2026 Fittest of the Coast

Fittest of the Coast is one of the largest participatory in-person competitions in the world. With over 5,000 athletes competing in 46 divisions – from pro individual divisions, two-person teams, masters, teens and even 6-9 year-old divisions, FOTC is quite the competition.

The PRO divisions, both individual and pairs, featured several Semifinals-level athletes including Reese Littlewood, Spencer Panchik, Seth Stovall and more.

In the individual Pro divisions, Brandon Smith and Brynn Carrick won the men’s and women’s division, respectively.

Wes Peters and Seth Stovall won the Team Pro Men division. Katie Cummingham and Marie Docken won the Team Pro Women division and Reese Littlewood and Daniel Sterling won the Team Pro Co-ed division.

There was also a bit of controversy in the Team Pro Co-ed division as Taylor Self stepped in to compete with Delia Moises, a Sentinel Training athlete. Delia’s teammate was sick and unable to compete so Self took his place.

After the first event, however, there were complaints that Self was not allowed to compete as he is currently banned by CrossFit for using banned substances including BPC-157 and TB-500. FOTC’s rulebook states that it adheres to CrossFit’s drug policy and sanctions.

Self was allowed to compete the rest of the weekend but was given last place for each event. Their team finished 18th after another team withdrew prior to the final two events.
