And just like that, The Q is behind us. The four-event, three-day online qualifier for the Rogue Invitational was this past weekend and Chandler Smith and Anikha Greer sit atop the unofficial standings. With score submissions closing late last night, there are still likely many video reviews to be completed that could shake up the leaderboard.
But barring any change, the top 5 men are:
1) Chandler Smith
2) Jorge Fernandez
3) Scott Tetlow
4) Jack Farlow
5) Tim Paulson
The top 5 women are:
1) Anikha Greer
2) Manon Angonese
3) Olivia Kerstetter
4) Andrea Solberg
5) Ro Scott
In addition to the qualifiers above, Rogue has invited at least the top 10 (and possibly the top 15) from the 2022 CrossFit Games.
However, there were some top athletes who will be sitting out this year’s event.
Some notable men’s names were outside the five guaranteed qualifying spots such as Colten Mertens (6th) and Kristoff Horvath (20th). Sam Cournoyer, Travis Mayer and a few others did not have a score for Workout 1. With Mayer’s Workout 1 submission rejected for not weighing his barbell and weights, others could have fallen victim to the same issue.
On the women’s side, Matilde Garnes (7th) and Elisa Fuliano (13th) were unable to qualify just several weeks after competing at the CrossFit Games.
