Dallin Pepper, Justin Medeiros Reportedly Declined WFP Pro Card for 2026 Season

Last month the World Fitness Project began announced signed Pros for the 2026 WFP season. However, those announcements stopped on January 21. It’s now been 13 days since Pat Vellner was confirmed in for 2026. Now it appears we might know why…

On the CF Network this morning, James Sprague shared a little insider knowledge. “I’m the only one out of the Boys doing it,” Sprague said.

He is speaking of the guys on the Boys Interrupted podcast…Justin Medeiros, Jayson Hopper, Dallin Pepper and James Sprague.

Hopper withdrew from the WFP Finals and was already expected to be out for this upcoming season. Medeiros, Pepper and Sprague, however, competed in Copenhagen and earned their Pro Card for 2026.

But now it looks like both Pepper and Medeiros have declined their contract and won’t be competing. Pepper and Medeiros finished 2nd and 4th overall, respectively, in the 2025 season. Pepper’s 2026 contract would be $70,000 while Medeiros’ would be $55,000.

So far only eight men and seven women have been announced as confirmed for the 2026 WFP season out of the 20 men and 20 women who will received a Pro Card and guaranteed minimum contract.

Are Pepper and Medeiros the only ones to walk away or will there be others? Stay tuned…
