Moritz Fiebig, Jamie Simmonds Win 2026 UAE Storm Games

The 2026 UAE Storm Games wrapped up this weekend in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The two-day competition hosted athletes primarily from the local area, but did attract some big names in the elite individual divisions. CrossFit Games veterans Moritz Fiebig and Jamie Simmonds ended up taking the men’s and women’s title, respectively, in a very tight races.

Fiebig won the final event to tie New Zealand’s Ben Fowler with 661 points. It was Fiebig’s second event win of the weekend and ended up being the tiebreaker that vaulted him to the top of the leaderboard. Kalyon Souza finished in third place overall.

The women’s leaderboard also finished in a tie at the top. While Simmonds did not win the final event, she took second place while Aline Wirz finished in third. That four point difference resulted in Simmonds tying Wirz on the leaderboard.

Similar to the men, that event finish would end up being the tiebreaker for Simmonds, pushing her to first place overall. Behind them was Claudia Gluck in third place, just four points shy of Simmonds and Wirz.
