If you like watching CrossFit (and WFP), then make sure your calendar is clear this weekend. There are three CrossFit Semifinal competitions and the WFP Tour Stop 1 taking place over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Far East Throwdown and Copa Sur will qualify individuals and teams to the 2026 CrossFit Games while the Magic City CrossFit Semifinal will send more Masters athletes out to San Jose, California, for the Masters CrossFit Games.
And then in London, the World Fitness Project is hosting its first competition of the 2026 season.
The top male, top female and top team at the Far East Throwdown will qualify for the CrossFit Games while the top 2 men, top 2 women and top team will advance out of Copa Sur.
At the Magic City CrossFit Semifinal, the top 3 men and women in the 35-44 age group divisions will qualify. The top 2 men and women in the 45-54 age group divisions will advance and the top male and female in the 55+ divisions will receive an invite to compete at the 2026 Masters CrossFit Games.
As for the WFP, the new format means that there will be 50 men and 50 women in the elite individual division. The 20 signed Pro athletes and 30 Challengers will be vying for season points in an effort to secure (or retain) their Pro Card for the 2027 WFP season.
The Far East Throwdown, Copa Sur and WFP London will be live streamed on YouTube. The Magic City CrossFit Semifinal, like last week’s Legends Championship, will be available on FloElite.
