Paige Powers is seven months pregnant. This weekend she and her partner, Dalton Rogers, are heading to Chicago, Illinois, for the HYROX Chicago race on November 16.
The couple registered for the Mixed Doubles division and will be “doing it for completion, not for competition.” This is the same division that Emma Lawson and Jack Farlow competed in (and qualified for the World Championships) last month.
It’s also the same division that Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and James Newbury will take on next month in Melbourne, Australia.
It sure looks like HYROX is becoming the new off-season fad for CrossFit athletes…
The 2024 HYROX Chicago event will be held at Navy Pier on Saturday, November 16. Paige and Dalton’s start wave is 1:10pm Central Time.
Paige and Dalton aren’t the only CrossFitters to be in Chicago for HYROX. Nick Mathew and Matt Mohr have registered for the Pro Doubles division. Their start time is 7:20pm Central.
And while not an elite athlete, John Wooley, aka The Wooley Memeth, will be competing in the Open division. His start time is 11:40am Central.
