Yesterday, I shared that Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr said she was going to do a HYROX race soon. In the article I highlighted a few upcoming races that she might do. Well, I received some insider information and it looks like Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr will be teaming up with James Newbury.
The duo will compete in the Mixed Doubles division at the HYROX Melbourne on December 15.
This is the same division that Emma Lawson and Jack Farlow competed in last month. Lawson and Farlow ended up qualifying for the 2025 World Championships in their age group.
Now, it must be noted that while there is a Pro division for Doubles, that is only for same-sex pairs. The Mixed Doubles division does not include a Pro division.

While many were likely hoping to see Tia in the Women’s Pro division, it looks like this HYROX venture will be more for fun rather than competition.
