The inaugural TYR Wodapalooza SoCal is still three months away, but it’s not too early to start planning your trip to Huntington Beach, California. Tickets for the three-day competition have just gone on sale. Spectators can choose between the Weekend Pass or the VIP Pass presented by REIGN.
Pricing for the 3-day Weekend Pass is currently $79, but will increase as more tickets are sold. For those looking for an enhanced viewing experiences, the VIP Pass is currently $415, but you get the following perks:
- Premium seating options on all competition stages, including for community divisions & the Elite TYR Cup competition;
- Unlimited beverages, including water, sparkling water, beer, wine, seltzer, & more;
- Complimentary light bites & snacks throughout the day, with more robust offerings during lunch and dinner;
- Meet-and-greet opportunities with select TYR Cup athletes and influencers; and,
- Access to air-conditioned private restrooms.
This year’s TYR Wodapalooza SoCal features a brand new competition format for the elite athletes – The TYR Cup. In a North America vs the World format, the two teams will feature four men and four women from each region to battle it out over a three-day, six event competition.
Over the six events the teams will challenged by having to select athletes to compete in various workouts to best suite their strengths. The winning team will split the $160,000 prize for 1st place.
The TYR Wodapalooza SoCal takes place at the Huntington Beach Pier from September 20-22, 2024. Like the Miami counterpart, there are plenty of community divisions that will be hitting the competition floor as well. But unlike Miami, community division registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The second registration wave opens on Thursday, June 20 (and there are still a few spots open from the first wave available).
