What started as a carousel post highlighting various athletes who earned their Pro Card in 2026 via the Challenger route turned into a little controversy Sunday afternoon. Fee Saghafi is featured in the second photo of the post, but the cross pendant on her necklace has been edited out.
Saghafi shared the post on her Instagram story with the text, “Ya’ll edited out my cross necklace from this celebration but you can’t take away it’s shadow. Love it.”

She then explained more in her next story. Saghafi thanked the WFP for the response she received regarding the matter. In the screenshot, you can read the end of what WFP responded with, “Again I am so sorry that this occurred and it will not happen again.” It is unclear who within the WFP responded to Saghafi.

Then this morning Fee made another post with the caption, “My Father’s cross always stays.”
The photographer in question in Flo (@florentine.p on Instagram). She allegedly was the person who photoshopped the cross out of the image. And it all makes sense when you scroll through her Instagram feed…
