WFP Reportedly Set to Return to Indianapolis for 2026 Season

The inaugural season of the World Fitness Project wrapped up two weeks ago in Copenhagen, Denmark. And as athletes (and fans) begin plan for the upcoming year, many are waiting for the 2026 WFP schedule.

John Wooley, also known as @wooleymemeth on Instagram, joined the Hybrid Fitness Media podcast over the weekend. The podcast was published to YouTube this morning. In that podcast, Wooley shared some news that had not yet been made public.

The WFP will be returning to Indianapolis for the 2026 WFP season, according to Wooley. He said he learned that information recently during an unprompted phone conversation with a member of the WFP media team.

Additionally, Wooley also referenced four tour stops when reflecting on the conversation. He said the 2026 Tour Stop 1 would be in Europe and that Indianapolis would be Tour Stop 2, 3 or 4, although he can’t remember which.

Indianapolis hosted Tour Stop 1 of the 2025 WFP season at the Grand Park Sports Complex.

All of this lines up with what has previously been communicated via podcasts or Will Moorad’s hints towards next season. That there would be an additional third Tour Stop in 2026.

Based on what we know have heard on podcasts, here is what the 2026 WFP season could look like:

Tour Stop 1
Mallorca
Late March/early April

Tour Stop 2
Indianapolis or TBD
June

Tour Stop 3
Indianapolis or TBD
Late August/September

WFP Finals
Copenhagen, Denmark
December

Roger Gillros had previously confirmed that Mallorca would be the first Tour Stop in 2026 in the late March/early April timeframe. And at the end of this year’s WFP Finals, it was announced that the finals would be returning to Copenhagen in 2026.

When Dallin Pepper joined THE SPIN on New Year’s Eve, he said he thinks the full schedule will be published once the drug testing comes back from the 2025 WFP Finals, likely in mid-late January.
