The World Fitness Project announced the dates and locations of its three competitions recently. With Tour Event 1 in May, the WFP has opened up registration for volunteers and judges.
The WFP Tour Event 1 is Indianapolis from May 9-11 at the Grand Park Sports Complex. To run the event, WFP is looking for on-site judges, volunteers as well as online qualifier judges.Â
There is a separate registration form for each, along with varying requirements.
Volunteers would be assigned to various tasks including scoring, athlete control, athlete relations, media, volunteer care, medical, spectator experience or gear team. When applying as a volunteer you have the ability to pick which days you are available. It appears that all volunteers will receive a shirt and pair of shoes. For in-person judging, those who are selected will be required to work all three days of competition, Friday through Sunday, for the listed times:
Friday, May 9th 7am-5:30pm
Saturday, May 10th 7am-5:30pm
Sunday, May 11th 7am-4pm
Judges will receive meals each day, an event shirt for each day and a “collection of exclusive swag”. Here is the link to apply for in-person judging.
Those looking to help judge the online qualifier will be asked to help review video submissions from March 26 through April 2. Sorry, no t-shirt for you. But here is the link to apply.
The deadline to apply as a volunteer or in-person judge is March 1.
The deadline to apply as a judge for the online qualifier is February 22.
