40 Ring Muscle-ups, 80 Calorie Row & 120 Wall Balls in 20.5

The movements were not a surprise as many were waiting on muscle-ups, rowing and wall balls. The surprise was how are programmed in the final workout of the 2020 CrossFit Open.

A simple workout for time of 40 ring muscle-ups, 80 calorie row and 120 wall balls. But what sets this apart from other Open workouts is that the athletes can partition the work however they choose.

For time (20-min time cap):
40 ring muscle-ups
80 calorie row
120 wall balls
*reps can be partitioned any way

This means that if an athletes wants to do 10 rounds of 4, 8 and 12 reps, respectively, that can work. Another athlete could do all the reps of each movement in order beginning with the muscle-ups….they could start with the wall balls or row.
