Annie Thorisdottir Sets Time to Beat on 20.3

Annie Thorisdottir has just set the time to beat on 20.3. As promised, Thorisdottir shared the video of her CrossFit Open performance earlier today. Thorisdottir and Sigmundsdottir took on the workout together, this time with Thorisdottir getting the upper hand.

Thorisdottir finished the 18.4 repeat in just 5:40 (unofficial). That time is faster than the best time two years ago when Carol-Ann Reason-Thibault posted a 5:58 time.

Back in 2018, Thorisdottir posted the 10th fastest time in the world with a time of 6:34. Less than two years later Thorisdottir improved her time by 54 seconds!

The video cuts off before Sigmundsdottir finishes the workout. However, Sigmundsdottir was finishing up the last round of deadlifts before having to complete the last 50-foot handstand walk. Thorisdottir took roughly 30 seconds to finish the same amount of work Sigmundsdottir had left to complete. That would put her around the 6:10 mark.
