Last week we learned the 2026 CrossFit Games would be held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. This week CrossFit has announced the schedule (dates & locations) of the 12 (yes, 12!) Semifinals for the 2026 season.
Similar to last year there will be a host of in-person Semifinals and an online Semifinal that will qualify athletes to the CrossFit Games. However, this year the online Semifinal (for individuals and teams) will be after all of the in-person events and will act like a last chance qualifier.
Many of last year’s “IPQEs” return this year with a couple new ones in the mix such as the Magic City Games, Legends Championship, MAD Fitness Festival and LatAm Masters.
There is also a Semifinal every weekend (in-person or online) for nine consecutive weekends from April 17 through June 15.
While the individual and team online Semifinals are after all of the in-person Semifinals, the Age-Group Semifinals are in the middle of the in-person competitions.
Masters will have several opportunities to qualify via an in-person Semifinal, however, the only path for teens is via the online Semifinals.
